Travel Guide Books

Above: Central district with the Victoria Harbor in front of it soon to be filled in.
As good as our website is, you may still want to get a travel guide in printed form to flip through while roaming around Hong Kong, or just to get a second opinion. You won't find large photos like ours in them though. One word of caution: get one that is published recently - Hong Kong changes too fast for you to rely on an old travel guide. For example, does the travel guide still list Ritz Carlton as one of the hotels in Central district? It had stopped operating, now waiting to re-open in the soon-to-be the tallest office building in Hong Kong. (2009.2.28) Does it tell you Star Ferry in Central is next to the City Hall? It was moved to where all the outlying ferry piers are. (2009.5.16)
