liquid, gel, or aerosol

luggage lockers
- there are luggage lockers of 3 different sizes in the hallway between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (the hallway near the exit to the airport buses). You can leave your luggage there for up to 30 days. The cost is based on the duration of usage. There is a price for the initial 4 hours and then another price for 12 hour increments. (2007.12.20) There's also a "Left Baggage" service
where you can leave your baggage for a fee. It is on the arrival level in a far corner well hidden behind some escalators more.
check-in
time - the check-in counter closes 40
minutes before the flight (or even earlier). So beware!
city
check-in is available for most airlines at the Hong Kong station of
the Airport Express. But this
is available only to those travelling by the Airport Express train to the airport.

I had a bad experience with Korean Airlines. So double-check!
terminal 2 - it is newer and smaller. All gates 1-80 are the same ones reachable from terminal 1 (2007.5.25). more
