  • New World First Bus - public buses, mainly serving Hong Kong Island, has sightseeing routes option in the web site, quite well done and catering to tourists, also has route info database, QTVR of bus in photo library, and even game and screensaver.
  • Citybus - public buses. Can search for bus route going from one place to another.

  • KMB - Kowloon Motor Bus; public buses mainly servicing Kowloon, has point to point route search.
  • cross-harbor buses - New World, CityBus, and KMB all have cross-harbor routes. The service of some routes is even shared by a couple of companies.
  • Long Win Bus - airport buses servicing the New Territories
  • Hong Kong Government Transport Department -

Trains

  • MTR - subway in Hong Kong (very graphics oriented); has route map, small virtual tour (QuickTime)
  • Airport Express - same site as MTR, has fare table and other info
  • KCR - trains going to New Territories; has map, supposedly the "journey planner" is where you can find out the fare, but I couldn't get it to work. (As of Dec 1, 2007, it has merged with MTR.)
  • KCR intercity trains - with schedules and fare tables to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou (Canton)
  • Light Rail - modern trams servicing northwest part of New Territories. Run by KCRC also.
