As more and more name brand stores pop up to cater to tourists, and as more and more shop space gets taken over by chain stores and malls, small quaint shops are squeezed out. It has been giving rise to a love for miniature displays of the latter, perhaps a way of keeping those memories alive.

Here're film clips from an exhibition of these fantastically done miniature shop models, complete with the tiny goods inside. If not for the surroundings captured, you might swear that the shops are real.

Shops in the clip include pawn shop, toy shop, pottery shop, and jewelry shop. In addition there's also an old building with an old-style kitchen and a street construction scene. The best one is of a night street scene, complete with old buses, blinking neon lights and emergency vehicles.
