Bean Curd Gelatin - "tofu fa"

Bean curd gelatin - or "tofu fa" in Cantonese, is a favorite for many of the locals. Besides being available in urban Hong Kong, you can try out this tasty dessert on the trail between "Yung Shue Wan" and "Sok Kwu Wan" on Lamma Island. There are a few different "cafes" that sell this there, but probably one run by an old lady is most famous.

The sign at this lady's store reads: world famous grandma's bean curd gelatin - smells good, smooth, and cheap.
