Lion Rock

Visible from even on Hong Kong Island across the Victoria Harbor, this is a mountain dividing Kowloon and New Territories. It actually looks like a lion in two ways! You can see it close up near the Lok Fu MTR station. But then one time I asked the security guard in the nearby shopping center where to see it, he said that there was no Lion Rock, just a Lion Rock Tunnel! That much for asking the locals!

If you enjoy hiking, there are actually a couple of trials that lead you up to the top!
