Plover Cove Reservoir / Tai Mei Tuk

The Plover Cove Reservior was built a few decades ago to help the water supply situation in Hong Kong. Now that water is bought from China mainland, I have heard that it is no longer used for that purpose. Surrounded by hills, it is a great place to catch a glimse of the beautiful countryside of Hong Kong.

There are bike rental shops and water sports equipment available as well - e.g. row boats. There are also free BBQ pits - first come first serve.
